Collection: Solid CO₂ Waxes
Our solid CO₂ waxes are the wax fraction of supercritical CO₂ extraction, supplied pure and undiluted, exactly as extracted. Nothing is added: no carrier, no solvent, no additives.
They are sold by weight in small glass jars (5g, 10g and 30g) rather than by volume, and they are solid at room temperature. To use one, warm it gently in a water bath at around 90°C until it melts, then dilute with the solvent of your choice. They suit solid perfumes, balms and other anhydrous work, and perfumers who prefer to prepare their own dilutions.
Each wax is a distinct extract of its plant, offering a different character from the essential oil or absolute of the same material. Many are rare and supplied in limited quantities, so please allow a lead time of 7-10 days. Certificates of analysis and safety data sheets are available on request where our suppliers provide them.
