Collection: CO₂ Extracts

Supercritical CO₂ extraction uses pressurised carbon dioxide instead of conventional solvents, leaving no solvent residue and capturing an aromatic profile that can differ noticeably from the absolute or essential oil of the same plant. That makes CO₂ extracts a distinctive addition to a natural palette.

Many of our extracts are viscous or waxy in their pure form, so we dilute them in natural TEC, or where a material needs it a blend of natural TEC and benzyl benzoate, to keep them pourable. Each listing states the dilution clearly, and the certificate of analysis and safety data sheet for the pure material are available on request where our suppliers provide them. Please allow a lead time of 7-10 days for these rarer materials.
