Raw Cacao CO₂ Extract — Creamy, Milky, and Unlike Any Chocolate Note You Know

Forget the dark, roasted chocolate character of conventional cocoa absolute — this is something entirely different. Extracted by supercritical CO₂ from unroasted, unfermented Theobroma cacao, this raw cacao extract offers a delicate, creamy profile of almond, vanilla, and milk that shares almost nothing with the deep, bitter-sweet chocolate note most perfumers associate with cocoa. Genuinely distinct from our existing Cocoa Absolute — a darker, more conventionally chocolatey material — this extract captures the pale, gentle, milky facets of the raw cacao bean before roasting transforms it into the familiar dark chocolate character.

As the pure extract is naturally solid and waxy, we supply it at 50% in a blend of natural TEC and natural benzyl benzoate — giving a workable, pourable liquid while keeping the material's delicate character at a generous strength. May thicken or set at cool temperatures — simply warm the bottle gently to restore full fluidity.

Scent Profile

Soft, creamy, and immediately gentle — a pale, milky sweetness with delicate almond and vanilla facets that read as genuinely different from conventional chocolate materials. There is a quiet, comforting quality here rather than the bold, dark richness of roasted cocoa — something closer to raw almond milk or fresh cream than to a chocolate bar.
