Rose de Mai CO₂ Extract — The Cabbage Rose, Captured Without Compromise

Rosa centifolia — the "hundred-petalled rose," also known as Rose de Mai for its brief May flowering, or the painter's rose for its role as the featured bloom in centuries of botanical art — has long been prized in perfumery, traditionally produced in Grasse before cultivation shifted primarily to Morocco and Egypt due to cost and limited supply. This CO₂ extract, produced from Bulgarian-grown roses, offers a genuinely different, more complete expression of the flower than conventional solvent extraction — capturing its full aromatic and lipid complexity without any trace of solvent residue, described by connoisseurs as the bridge between a full-bodied rose absolute and a more ethereal rose otto.
