Antioxidant Green Tea Leaf Wax — A Fresh, Vegetal Second Expression

Green tea has long been prized in natural perfumery for its clean, fresh, slightly vegetal character — and already appears in our range as a solvent-extracted absolute. This CO₂ wax offers a genuinely distinct second expression of Camellia sinensis leaves, capturing the plant's full lipid complexity alongside its characteristic freshness in a rich, antioxidant-dense wax form that the absolute alone does not fully achieve.

As the pure wax is solid at room temperature, we supply it at 50% in IPM (isopropyl myristate) — a lightweight ester that gives a notably clear, workable pourability while preserving the material's delicate green character.

Scent Profile

Fresh, green, and gently vegetal — a clean tea-leaf character with subtle grassy undertones, considerably softer and more rounded than a sharp green top note. A gentle waxy warmth underlies the freshness, giving the material a comforting, skin-like quality that lends itself beautifully to skincare-adjacent perfumery.

A versatile, understated material for compositions seeking genuine green freshness without sharpness — well suited to spa-inspired fragrances, fresh floral compositions, and modern minimalist perfumery. Used alongside our Green Tea Absolute, it allows perfumers to build a genuinely layered green tea accord spanning two distinct extraction methods.

Blending Suggestions

Pairs beautifully with bergamot, white florals, jasmine sambac, sandalwood, soft musks, and our existing Green Tea Absolute for a layered fresh-green accord.

Packaging

1ml sample supplied in a 5ml clear flint glass bottle. 5ml, 10ml and 30ml supplied in amber glass bottles — all with inbuilt droppers and tamper evident caps.
