Velvet Gardenia CO₂ Wax — Pure, Creamy, Uncompromised

Gardenia jasminoides — the Cape jasmine — gives one of perfumery's most prized white florals, and this CO₂ wax captures its creamy, lush character together with the waxy fraction of the flower. It is a distinct expression from our gardenia absolutes, softer and more diffusive, with a rounded body that suits solid and anhydrous work especially well.

Supplied in its pure, undiluted, creamy wax form — exactly as extracted, with no carrier of any kind added. This is the genuine article for perfumers who prefer to prepare their own dilutions, or who want to work directly with the material in its most concentrated and authentic state.

Scent Profile

Lush, smooth and unmistakably floral, with creamy gardenia notes, a soft sweetness, delicate green facets and a warm balsamic undertone.

Perfumery Applications

Ideal for solid perfumes, balms, botanical fragrance bases and anhydrous formulations, where it adds body, structure and a refined white-floral profile. It also lends a creamy floral heart to natural perfume compositions.

Usage Note

This wax is creamy to semi-solid at room temperature. To prepare for use, gently warm in a water bath at around 90°C to melt it into a liquid, then dilute with your solvent of choice according to your own formulation preferences.

Blending Suggestions

Pairs beautifully with jasmine, tuberose, ylang ylang, orange blossom, sandalwood, benzoin, vanilla and soft musks.
