Turkish Rose Otto — Pure, from the Aegean Rose Fields

Turkey's Aegean rose fields have produced some of the world's finest Damask rose oil for generations, offering a genuine and distinct alternative to the more widely known Bulgarian tradition. This is a genuinely undiluted, 100% pure rose otto — steam distilled from freshly picked Rosa damascena petals, with no carrier oils or dilution of any kind.

Alongside our Bulgarian and Indian Kannauj rose ottos, this Turkish expression completes a genuinely comprehensive study of rose otto across three of the world's most celebrated rose-growing and distilling traditions.

Scent Profile

Intensely sweet, rich, and deeply floral, with a rounded warmth characteristic of Turkish rose material. The fragrance is strong and full-bodied, with genuine complexity and excellent tenacity as a base to middle note. As a genuine steam-distilled rose otto, the natural stearoptenes (rose waxes) present may cause the oil to crystallise or solidify at cooler temperatures — a hallmark of authenticity rather than a defect; gently warm the bottle to restore full fluidity.

Perfumery Applications

A cornerstone floral material for natural perfumery, adding genuine rose depth and authenticity to oriental, floral, and classical compositions. Extraordinarily concentrated — a small amount goes a very long way in blending. Pairs beautifully with sandalwood, vanilla, geranium, jasmine, clove, benzoin, bergamot, chamomile, fennel, ginger, lavender, lemon, mandarin, neroli, patchouli, petitgrain, ylang ylang, and vetiver.
