Summer Linden Bloom CO₂ Wax — The Lime-Tree Blossom, Captured as a Pure Wax

When the linden tree flowers, its blossom fills the air with one of the most recognisable scents of the season: soft, honeyed and quietly green. Tilia cordata has long been loved by perfumers, and it is already part of our range as our French Linden Blossom Absolute. This CO₂ wax offers a distinct second expression of the same blossom, drawn out by CO₂ extraction in the gentle, lipid-rich form of a solid wax.

Supplied here in its pure, undiluted, solid wax form, exactly as extracted, with no carrier of any kind added. It is intended for perfumers who prefer to prepare their own dilutions, or who want to work with the material at its most concentrated.

Scent Profile

A delicate, honeyed floral aroma with soft green and herbal nuances. Gentle and rounded rather than sharp, with the calm, creamy quality that a waxy extract brings to a floral heart.

Perfumery Applications

Well suited to natural perfume, solid fragrances, balms and other anhydrous compositions, where a wax-based material blends in naturally. A soft heart note for honeyed florals, linden and lime-tree accords, and gentle green-floral structures. Used alongside our French Linden Blossom Absolute, it allows perfumers to build a layered linden accord from two distinct extractions.

Usage Note

This wax is solid at room temperature. To prepare for use, gently warm in a water bath at around 90°C to melt it into a liquid, then dilute with your solvent of choice according to your own formulation preferences.

Blending Suggestions

Pairs beautifully with orange blossom, neroli, jasmine, rose, bergamot, chamomile, honey and beeswax absolutes, vanilla, tonka, hay and sandalwood.
