Sandalwood Amyris Pure Essential Oil

Amyris (Amyris balsamifera), known as West Indian sandalwood, is a hard, dense, resinous tree native to Haiti and other Caribbean islands and parts of Central America. This oil is steam distilled from the bark. It echoes the soft, woody warmth of true sandalwood, but the two trees are not botanically related, and amyris has its own drier, earthier character.

Uses

A popular base note in perfumery, soap making, candle making and diffuser blends. It blends well with a wide range of other oils.
