Bulgarian Rose Absolute — Sweet & Musky

A rich, deeply floral rose absolute of Rosa damascena, solvent extracted from Bulgarian-grown Damask rose petals. This is a wonderfully full-bodied and honeyed rose material — sweet, musky, and immediately recognisable as genuine rose, with real depth and lasting character on skin and in blends.

Scent Profile

Rich, sweet, and deeply floral with a warm, honeyed rose character and a soft musky undertone. Less bright and dewy than a steam-distilled rose otto, but with excellent depth and tenacity — the absolute reveals its complexity gradually and lingers beautifully.

Uses

A lovely addition to natural perfume blends, candle making, soap making, and aromatherapy work where a rich, genuine rose note is wanted. Blends beautifully with jasmine, geranium, sandalwood, patchouli, ylang ylang, and citrus oils.
