This absolute is produced by solvent extraction of freshly harvested Plumeria rubra flowers in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh — India's most celebrated centre of natural perfumery, a city whose aromatic tradition stretches back over a thousand years and whose craftspeople have developed unparalleled expertise in extracting the finest qualities from India's abundant tropical botanicals. The result is a bronze-coloured, slightly viscous material of genuine beauty — creamy, sweet, fruity, and deeply tropical, capturing the full aromatic character of frangipani blossom in concentrated form.

As the pure absolute is highly concentrated, we supply it at 50% in natural triethyl citrate (TEC) — a gentle, odourless carrier that makes it easy to measure and work with while leaving its character untouched. If it thickens in cool conditions, simply warm the bottle gently to restore its fluidity.
