Organic Bulgarian Rose Otto — From the Valley of the Roses

Genuine Bulgarian rose otto remains one of the most coveted materials in all of perfumery — steam distilled from the petals of Rosa damascena grown in Bulgaria's legendary Valley of the Roses, a region whose unique climate and soil have produced the world's finest rose oil for centuries. Alongside our Turkish and Indian (Kannauj) rose ottos, this Bulgarian expression completes a genuinely comprehensive study of Damask rose across three of the world's most celebrated rose-growing and distilling traditions.

Scent Profile

Sweet, floral, rich, warm, and refined — the classical benchmark against which all other rose ottos are measured. Genuinely pure and highly concentrated; a small amount provides remarkable depth and longevity. The fragrance is rounded and complete, with the honeyed, slightly green freshness characteristic of authentic Bulgarian rose material.

Perfumery Applications

A cornerstone floral material for natural perfumery, adding luminous, authentic rose depth to oriental, floral, and classical compositions. Extraordinarily concentrated — use very sparingly, as a small amount goes an exceptionally long way in blending.
