Jasmine oil is very useful and a must have for perfumers. It is one of the most popular and versatile essential oils used in perfumery. The absolute has a strong, sweet, and intoxicating floral scent that is often described as being "heady" or "voluptuous." Jasmine oil is a top note oil, which means that it evaporates quickly and creates a fresh, immediate impression. It is also a very versatile oil that can be used in a variety of different perfume blends.
Jasmine can be used as a top note oil to create a fresh, immediate impression.
As a middle note oil, it can give body and depth to a perfume blend.
As a base note oil, it can add a touch of warmth and sweetness.
Jasmine can be used to create a variety of different floral perfumes, as well as oriental and chypre perfumes.
You can also blend Jasmine with other essential oils, such as rose, sandalwood and ylang-ylang, to create unique and complex perfume blends.
All pure absolutes such as this oil are now rare and extremely concentrated by nature. They should be properly evaluated in a diluted state otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance, particularly the rare and exotic notes are not properly appreciated.
Pure Absolute Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
