Indian Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute — MANE's "Gold" Grade

Jasmine grandiflorum absolute has been the trademark of fine fragrance — particularly the great French classics — for well over a century. This absolute, produced by V. MANE Fils from Indian-grown Jasminum grandiflorum, is unquestionably among the richest Indian jasmines available, so opulent and powerful that it presents with almost the same intensity as tuberose absolute — precisely why it has earned the name "Gold."

As the pure absolute is exceptionally concentrated, we supply it diluted at 50% in TEC (triethyl citrate) giving a genuinely workable material without compromising its extraordinary richness. This Indian expression offers a distinctly different character from our Egyptian jasmine — deeper, sweeter, and considerably more opulent, a jasmine for perfumers seeking maximum intensity and narcotic depth.

Scent Profile

Intensely floral and profoundly sweet from the very opening — a deep, fruity-banana character intertwined with extraordinary creamy density and warm indolic undertones that together create a genuinely narcotic, sensual profile. This is jasmine at its most opulent and most powerful, with a tenacity that persists for well over 180 hours on a smelling strip. Very small amounts are enough to floralise an entire composition, though history has shown that generous use can be equally beautiful and effective.

Perfumery Applications

An essential heart note for fine fragrances, floral bouquets, oriental compositions, and luxury perfumes requiring genuine depth and sensuality. Used at trace levels it enriches and rounds a composition with quiet elegance; used more generously it becomes an unmistakable, opulent centrepiece. Average recommended use is around 0.25% in a finished compound. IFRA 51: 0.35% in finished product (Category 4) — a tight restriction reflecting the material's extraordinary potency.

Blending Suggestions

Pairs beautifully with rose absolute, tuberose, ylang ylang, orange blossom, sandalwood, vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin, labdanum, and soft musks. Our Egyptian jasmine and this Indian "Gold" grade together offer a genuinely instructive study in contrast across the jasmine family.

Packaging
