Part of our Professional Perfumers Range — curated for the discerning natural perfumer seeking exceptional depth and rarity.
Honey Lavender Absolute Oil
Botanical Name: Apis mellifera
Origin: France
Part Used: The Honeycomb
Extraction Method: Solvent Extraction
Appearance: Orangey brown coloured, syrupy viscous liquid when warmed gently (warm gently to liquify)
Main Uses: Perfumery and for creating your own natural perfume blends. Cosmetic use in skin preparations
Note: Middle to Base
Growing Conditions: Grown on unpolluted sustainable land.
Honey lavender absolute is a rare and precious absolute extracted from the honeycomb of bee hives planted around the edges of the lavender fields in France. The bees pollinate the lavender flowers imparting a very fine smelling honey with a strong hint of fresh lavender. The resulting absolute has wonderful bouquet that is both delicate and calming as a summer meadow. A worthy ingredient to any natural perfume blend.
All pure absolutes such as this oil are now rare and extremely concentrated by nature. They should be properly evaluated in a diluted state otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance, particularly the rare and exotic notes are not properly appreciated.
Pure Absolute Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
For External Cosmetic Use Only
Keep away from eyes & sensitive areas. Not suitable for babies or children. Do not use on broken skin. Avoid all Absolutes if pregnant or nursing
Iml sample supplied in a clear flint glass bottle with inbuilt dropper and tamper evident cap
5ml & 10ml supplied in a glass amber bottle with inbuilt dropper and tamper evident cap
