This essential oil has a cool, clean, and camphoraceous with a softer, slightly sweet undertone compared to the more medicinal E. globulus. Fresh and airy with mild peppery-herbaceous notes. Less sharp and more gentle overall - crisp and light. A top note that's bright without being harsh.

This tree comes from the family of more than 600 species of Eucalyptus. It has a distinctive bark that has a smooth texture and is dimpled. The oil is taken from the leaves, twigs and wood of the more mature Eucalyptus trees as they have a higher amount of oil and provide a higher standard of the pale yellow oil at distillation.
