English Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia)
Origin: Native to the western Mediterranean region, now widely cultivated across France, Bulgaria, England, Australia, and many other temperate regions. France and Bulgaria are among the largest producers of high-quality lavender oil. The oil is steam-distilled from the fresh flowering tops of the plant, which belongs to the Lamiaceae (mint) family. English lavender - also known as true lavender or fine lavender - is considered the most prized species for aromatic work, distinct from lavandin (Lavandula x intermedia) and spike lavender (Lavandula latifolia), which have different chemical profiles and scent characteristics. Lavender has been one of the most beloved and widely used aromatic plants for centuries, with a deeply established place in perfumery traditions worldwide.
Scent: Fresh, floral, and sweetly herbaceous with a soft, clean, gentle character. Smooth and refined - there's a bright, green, slightly camphoraceous opening that settles into a warm, powdery, honeyed sweetness. Subtly woody with a faint, balsamic depth. Elegant, balanced, and universally appealing - a classic, timeless floral scent that is softer, sweeter, and more delicate than lavandin or spike lavender.

- A classic addition to diffuser blends, bringing a fresh, gentle atmosphere to any space
