Botanical Name - Croton Lechleri
Origin - South American Rainforest
Part Used - The Resin
Extraction Method - Filtration of the resin to produce an essential oil
Appearance - Reddish Brown Coloured Oil
Scent - Has a lovely deep, sweet musky scented aroma
Main Uses - Natural Perfumery and for creating your own blends. Cosmetic use
Note - Middle to Base Notes
Growing Conditions - Organically crafted that is to say not certified as organic but grown on unpolluted sustainable land.
Makes a unique ingredient in any artisan natural perfume. A rare and hard to find essential oil
It can also be used in many skincare preparations due to its nourishing qualities.
Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
