The attar is crafted in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh - India's historic perfume capital, with an attar-making tradition stretching back over 400 years. Agarwood chips are carefully hydro-distilled over pure sandalwood oil using the traditional deg-bhapka method, recognised by UNESCO as part of India's intangible cultural heritage. The yield is exceptionally small and the raw material extraordinarily rare - making genuine Dehn Al Oud one of the most precious and costly fragrances in the world.
