Clementine Essential Oil (Citrus clementina)

Origin: Native to the Mediterranean region, particularly Algeria, where it was first cultivated in the early 20th century. Now widely grown across Spain, Morocco, Italy, and other Mediterranean countries. The oil is cold-pressed from the rind (peel) of the ripe fruit, which belongs to the Rutaceae (citrus) family. Clementine is a hybrid citrus - a cross between a mandarin and a sweet orange - and produces an oil that is distinctly brighter and more delicate than either parent fruit. It has become increasingly popular in perfumery and artisan fragrance work.

Scent: Sweet, bright, and delicately citrusy with a soft, juicy, tangerine-like warmth. Lighter and more refined than sweet orange - fresh and sparkling with a gentle, honeyed sweetness. There's a subtle, floral quality balanced by a faint, clean, zesty peel character. Gentle, radiant, and universally appealing - a cheerful, sunny citrus scent with a soft, elegant finish.
