This rare and delicate organic natural Lilac essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation from the light blue/purple and white blossoms of the Syringa Josikaea plant. It is a species of lilac that is native to central and eastern Europe and is a deciduous shrub growing to a height of 2-4 m.
Bulgarian Lilac has a subtle honey sweet floral scent which is instantly recognisable as lilac.
It is useful in many products from perfumery to lotions.

Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
