Appearance: Pale brown to dark brown coloured (solid when cold but liquid when gently warmed)
Scent: A rich warm caramel aroma with hints of vanilla and almond
Main Uses: Natural perfumery and for creating your own blends. Cosmetic use
Note: Middle to Base, being an excellent fixative
Growing Conditions: Organically crafted that is to say not certified as organic but grown on unpolluted sustainable land.
Tonka Bean Absolute produced from a sustainable source is extracted from the seeds (beans) of the fruit of the Dipteryx odorata, also known as Cumaru or Kumaru which is a large tropical tree native to Central and South America.
Having a sweet caramel like aroma with hints of vanilla and almond it makes an excellent natural ingredient and fixative in natural perfumery.
For External Cosmetic Use Only
Pure Absolute Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
Keep away from eyes, sensitive areas, babies, children or pets. Do not use on broken skin.
Avoid all Absolutes if pregnant or nursing
Available in 1ml sample, 5ml, 10ml or 30ml sizes
1ml sample supplied in a 5ml clear flint glass bottle with inbuilt dropper and tamper evident cap
5ml supplied in either a clear flint glass bottle or amber glass bottle with inbuilt dropper and tamper evident cap
10ml & 30ml supplied in a glass amber bottle with inbuilt dropper and tamper evident cap

I always enjoy very much the items which this shop offers
But this particular Tonka( absolute) is missing the “ coumarin” scent profile which is ever present in Brazilian Tonka Beans.. never mind I truly enjoy most of the other items that I got from them 🙏🏼
After having It for few days in my draw it LEAKED so this sample didn’t last me much at all. It also went sludgy and thick - the seller explained that’s due to temperature - I wish that’s was explained with instructions or something before purchasing to avoid confusion…. But not sure if it’s the component or the way it’s been filled that made it leak because it happened with other bottles that I bought from them! The reason why I’m giving low rating is because of extremely poor customer service - when I explained my concerns about the item the seller showed no sincerity or genuinity, no sensibly or understanding, no offering for replacement or even an APOLOGY - to make the buyer feel validated or acknowledged - NOTHING. I was sent generic plain response which was very underwhelming and disappointing.

Gorgeous complex warm and sweet scent. A perfume on its own.
I was excited to smell the his scent as I had only smelled it in creams. It is lovely and reminiscent of orris root.
