Blue Gum Leaf CO₂ Wax — Pure, Cool, Uncompromised

Eucalyptus globulus — the blue gum — is best known in its distilled oil form, bright and fleeting. This CO₂ wax takes the leaf in a different direction, capturing the waxy fraction together with the aroma, for a rounder, more persistent expression than the volatile distilled oil can offer.

Supplied in its pure, undiluted, viscous wax form — exactly as extracted, with no carrier of any kind added. This is the genuine article for perfumers who prefer to prepare their own dilutions, or who want to work directly with the material in its most concentrated and authentic state.

Fresh, cool and green with a camphoraceous character.

Perfumery Applications

Well suited to balms, solid perfumes and green aromatic accords, and to other anhydrous or wax-based formulations, where it gives a longer-lasting effect than a highly volatile distilled oil.

Usage Note

This is a viscous, wax-rich material and is best prepared before use. Gently warm in a water bath at around 90°C to melt it into a liquid, then dilute with your solvent of choice according to your own formulation preferences.

Pairs beautifully with lavender, rosemary, pine, juniper, cedar, vetiver, bergamot and mint.
