Desert Rosewood Essential Oil is steam distilled from the heartwood and bark of the Eremophila mitchellii which is a small tree native to the hot and arid grazing land of eastern Australia. Also known as Buddha Wood this hardy shrub was in ages past traditionally used by the Aboriginal Peoples of Australia. The oil has an old woody aroma and thick viscosity with a deep amber hue. Desert Rosewood is often compared with the more common Sandalwood Oil but the chemistry and aroma differ entirely.

With it's balsamic and smoke notes Desert Rosewood Oil can be used in natural perfumes formulas as a creative base note.

In Aromatherapy, Desert Rosewood Oil is thought to support deeper meditation and inner peace.

For External Cosmetic Use Only

Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin.

A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product. 

Keep away from eyes, sensitive areas, babies, children and pets

Avoid all Essential Oils and Absolutes if pregnant or nursing
