Acacia Honey Absolute — A Delicate, Subtle Honey Material

This absolute is produced from the honeycomb of Apis mellifera hives foraged predominantly on Robinia pseudoacacia (black locust) blossom in France, supplied at 20% in natural triethyl citrate (TEC) — a lighter dilution than many of our other honey and resinous materials, chosen to give a genuinely workable, pourable material.

An honest note on character: at this dilution, Acacia Honey Absolute presents as a clear, viscous liquid with a notably subtle, faint aromatic character rather than a bold or assertive honey note. This makes it a genuinely delicate background material best suited to perfumers seeking a very light, understated honeyed touch rather than a pronounced honey accord — it is not a substitute for our Honey Lavender Absolute where a more pronounced, characterful honey note is required.

Faint and delicate — a soft, understated honeyed warmth that reads more as a whisper than a statement.
