Botanical Name: Butyrospermum parkii.

This organic unrefined natural butter is extracted from the Shea nut and has a colour which as a natural product varies from batch to batch from a creamy white to a greenish tinge.

It has a rich earthy aroma and it is mostly for skin care that Shea butter is hailed, for its protecting and moisturising properties. A wonderful base for cosmetic recipes or used as a stand alone application, this comes highly recommended for those concerned about naturally healthy skin. This butter will melt at skin temperature.
