Violet leaf Absolute is extracted from the leaves of Viola Odorata mainly through Solvent Extraction. It is a perennial herb belonging to the Violaceae family of plants and native to Europe and Asia, later being introduced to North America and Australia. Violet is also known as Sweet Violet and is planted as an ornamental plant and for the distinctive and gentle flowery aroma.

All pure absolutes such as this oil are now rare and extremely concentrated by nature. They should be properly evaluated in a diluted state otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance, particularly the rare and exotic notes are not properly appreciated.

Always dilute Pure Absolutes before use on the skin.

A patch test is always advised before first use

Avoid using all Absolutes if pregnant or nursing.
