Our Ruh Gulab Rose Oil is derived from the petals of the *Rosa Damascena* rose, grown in the fertile fields of Hassayan, a region renowned for its rose cultivation. The oil has a rich heritage of being used as a scent on its own and in attars for thousands of years in India.
Traditional Distillation:
This pure rose essential oil (Ruh Gulab) is extracted using the traditional 'Deg & Bhapka' method, a hydro-distillation technique perfected by perfumers in Kannauj for generations. Fresh rose petals are gently heated in copper pots (degs) with water, and the fragrant steam is condensed into a receiver pot (bhapka).
