Litsea Cubeba Essential Oil (Litsea Cubeba)

Origin: Commonly known as May Chang, is native to East and Southeast Asia, particularly southern China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and parts of Japan and Southeast Asia. China is by far the largest producer. The oil is steam-distilled from the small, pepper-like fruits (berries) of the tree, which belongs to the Lauraceae (laurel) family.

Scent Profile: Litsea cubeba essential oil has a bright, lemony-citrus aroma with sweet, fruity notes and subtle floral undertones. The scent is fresh, clean, and sparkling - similar to lemongrass but softer and fruitier, with a delicate, effervescent quality. It offers a lighter, more refined citrus character than lemon with hints of creamy sweetness.
