✦ CHAMPA ATTAR - The Golden Flower of the Gods ✦
Champa is one of the most sacred, celebrated, and instantly recognisable flowers in all of India. Known botanically as Magnolia champaca - and closely related to the frangipani family - the champa is a tall, graceful flowering tree whose golden yellow and white blossoms produce one of the most intensely rich, sweet, and intoxicatingly beautiful fragrances in the natural world. Revered across Hindu and Buddhist traditions as a flower of divine significance, offered at temples and shrines, celebrated in classical Indian poetry and music, and treasured by the master perfumers of Kannauj as one of the great classical attar flowers, champa is a fragrance of extraordinary depth, warmth, and spiritual beauty.
The name "champa" resonates deeply across Indian culture - immortalised in classical ragas, woven into the imagery of Sanskrit poetry, and worn close to the skin as a fragrance of devotion, love, and divine connection for thousands of years. Champa Attar captures this extraordinary flower in a pure, alcohol-free perfume oil of exceptional richness and beauty.
THE SCENT PROFILE
Champa Attar opens with a rich, intensely sweet, and deeply exotic floral - immediately warm and luminous, with the characteristic heady sweetness of the champa bloom at its most radiant. It is simultaneously floral and fruity, sweet and spiced, with a warmth and depth that makes it one of the most distinctive and immediately recognisable of all the classical Indian attar flowers. As it develops on the skin, a deeper, richer creaminess emerges - warm, honeyed, and gently spiced - with the sandalwood base slowly drawing the extraordinary character of the champa into a deeply intimate, warm, and enduringly beautiful dry-down.

ORIGIN & PRODUCTION
Champa Attar is crafted in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh - India's historic perfume capital, with an attar-making tradition stretching back over 400 years. Champa is considered one of the great classical flowers of the Kannauj attar tradition, its distillation a highly skilled and celebrated art passed down through generations of master perfumers. Fresh champa blossoms are carefully hydro-distilled over pure sandalwood oil using the traditional deg-bhapka method, recognised by UNESCO as part of India's intangible cultural heritage, at the precise moment of their peak fragrance. No alcohol, no synthetic fixatives - only the finest natural materials and time.
