Carrot Seed Essential Oil (Daucus carota)

Origin: Native to Europe and western Asia, now widely cultivated across France, Hungary, Egypt, India, and the Netherlands. France is one of the most notable producers. The oil is steam-distilled from the dried seeds of the wild carrot plant, which belongs to the Apiaceae (carrot/parsley) family. Wild carrot is also commonly known as Queen Anne's lace. Carrot seed oil has a long history in perfumery and aromatic traditions, valued for its distinctive, earthy character.

Scent: Warm, earthy, and softly woody with a dry, herbaceous, slightly sweet character. Rich and complex - there's a distinctive, rooty, iris-like quality layered with a subtle, warm, spicy depth. Faintly floral with a dry, musky undertone and a gentle, balsamic warmth.
