Alba Rose Blossom Wax — A Second Expression of the White Rose

Rosa alba — the classical white rose, cultivated since antiquity and celebrated for its refined, softer character compared to the deeper Damask rose — already appears in our range as a solvent-extracted absolute (our Bulgarian White Rose Absolute). This CO₂ wax offers a genuinely distinct second expression of the same beautiful flower, capturing its full lipid and aromatic complexity in a way the absolute alone does not fully achieve.

As the pure wax is solid at room temperature, we supply it at 50% in IPM (isopropyl myristate) — a lightweight ester that gives a notably clear, workable pourability while preserving the flower's delicate character.

Scent Profile

Soft, tender, and gently floral — a delicate rose character considerably lighter and more restrained than the more complex spiced-musky profile of our Bulgarian White Rose Absolute. A creamy, waxy warmth underlies the floral top notes, giving the material a comforting, skin-like quality rather than a bold, projecting rose character.

Perfumery Applications

A gentle, versatile heart note material well suited to soft floral compositions, powdery accords, and skin-scent perfumery where a delicate rose presence is wanted without heaviness. Used alongside our Bulgarian White Rose Absolute, it allows perfumers to build a genuinely layered white rose accord spanning two distinct extraction methods.

Blending Suggestions

Pairs beautifully with jasmine, violet leaf, orris, sandalwood, soft musks, and our other rose materials for a layered rose accord.

Packaging

1ml sample supplied in a 5ml clear flint glass bottle. 5ml, 10ml and 30ml supplied in amber glass bottles — all with inbuilt droppers and tamper evident caps.
