Elderflower Essential Oil is extracted from the creamy white flowers of the leafy shrub Sambucus nigra which is cultivated in North America. It has a delicate floral scent with honeyed, spicy undertones.

The scent of this oil is soft, sweet, and gently fruity with a delicate berry-like warmth. Subtly floral and slightly green with a faint earthy undertone. Light, quiet, and nuanced with a mild jammy sweetness balanced by a dry, woody quality.

Elderflower oil is also excellent for use in cosmetic skincare products. In Aromatherapy it can evoke feelings of sense and calm.
