Botanical Name: Evernia prunastri. Origin France. Earthy, deep, mossy Oak moss is a light green lichen that is found growing on oak trees (though sometimes on other species as well). The essential oil of oakmoss is mainly used in perfumery as a fixative. Blends well with: Anise, Bay, Bergamot, Clary Sage, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Ginger, Lavender, Lime, Neroli, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Tea Tree, Vetiver and Ylang Ylang.
