The Chamomile German plant is an annual, reaching up to 60cm in height. From May to August it flowers, sporting top-heavy flower heads.

Chamomile is well known for its calming properties. Blue or German Chamomile essential oil has a high content of Azulene, the active compound of Chamomile which bears a blue colour after the oil is distilled and is most suitable as an ingredient for skin care products.

Blends well with Bergamot, Clary Sage, Lavender, Geranium, Jasmine, Tea Tree, Grapefruit, Rose, Lemon and Ylang Ylang.

Aromatic Scent: The German Chamomile essential oil has a sweet, straw-like fragrance.

For External Use only

The dilution is between 5-10% pure Absolute/Essential oil in a base of Organic Grapeseed Oil and Natural Vitamin E Oil. Being quite strong it can be diluted further if necessary and can be used straight on the skin however a patch test is always recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
