Organic Helichrysum Essential Oil is extracted by gentle steam distillation from the deep yellow flowerheads of Helichrysum plant which is a member of the Sunflower family. It is one of the most expensive essential oils in the world as it takes one tonne of flowers to make one litre of oil!

Helichrysum italicum has a distinctive pungent herbaceous aroma similar but not the same as Chamomile.

There has been a lot of research on the benefits of Helichrysum oil and it has been used in many skincare preparations. (google it to find more information on this fascinating plant)

Pure Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin

A patch test is always recommended before use to see if your skin is sensitive to the product
