With its herb-like scent of fresh cut hay, it makes a perfect ingredient for the natural perfumer as a sweet herbaceous undertone. It can also be used in Aromatherapy and as an ingredient in skincare creams and lotions. The fresh Hay grass is cut and harvested in June and July which then naturally dries out in the sun until August. During the drying out process, the grass becomes fragrant with the very distinctive fresh Hay aroma.
