Immortelle absolute is a prized ingredient in fine perfumery, lending its honeyed, tobacco-like nuances to amber, chypre, and oriental accords. It pairs beautifully with other rich, heady notes such as tobacco, tuberose, carnation, and other florals.
Due to its allergenic potential, immortelle absolute should be used in moderation. However, when used judiciously, it can add depth, complexity, and intrigue to a fragrance. It is offered here @10% in DPG which is ideal to work with as the pure absolute is a thick paste.
Absolutes should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
For External Cosmetic Use Only
Avoid all Absolutes if pregnant or nursing
