Osmanthus is cultivated in China and also India for its flowers which have an apricot like fragrance. The extracted Absolute has a rich, fruity, honeyed floral fragrance with spicy undertones possessing pronounced high and low notes. This viscous oil is widely used in perfumery in musk, amber and floral bases. It blends remarkably well with woody, floral, herbs, citrus and green notes. If you blend this oil with other kinds of oils and fragrances they will reflect in the complex notes of the oil. Our Osmanthus Absolute is hexane free extracted and displays a heady balance of aromatic and fruity sweet apricot notes. The dry down of this Osmanthus Absolute oil is subtle and invokes a calming sensuality. Osmanthus Absolute is one of the purest forms that comes from the raw material.

BLENDS WELL WITH: Rose, frankincense, Cedarwood, neroli, ylang ylang, orange,
clove, bergamot, lavender, rosewood, juniper, rosemary
clary sage, herb and floral scents, bergamot, citrus
oils especially grapefruit.

USES:
Used in the making of fine fragrances.

All pure absolutes such as this oil are now rare and extremely concentrated by nature. They should be properly evaluated in a diluted state otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance, particularly the rare and exotic notes are not properly appreciated.

The Iml sample is supplied in a clear heavy white Flint Glass bottle with polycone sealed cap which is ideal for testing the contents prior to buying the larger sizes.
The 5ml and 10ml bottle sizes are in amber glass bottles with inbuilt dropper and tamper evident cap.
