Osmanthus Absolute is extracted from the fragrant orange flowers of the Osmanthus fragrans native to the Eastern Himalayas, China and parts of Japan. It has a beautiful fruity yet floral aroma reminiscent of ripe apricots with a hint of green leafy undertones. It can be used as an ingredient in perfumes or even on its own.
Osmanthus has antioxidant, anti-rheumatic and anti-bacterial properties so is useful also in Aromatherapy and cosmetic preparations.

Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product. If blending into creams, lotions, body butters etc, 1-2% maximum of the pure absolute oil or essential oil to 100% of the product is usually about right.
