Honeysuckle Absolute is extracted from the flowers of the Lonicera caprifolium (Family Caprifoliaceae) grown in Southern Europe. It has an intensely floral honey like aroma reminiscent of early summer.

Honeysuckle has anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-microbial properties and is commonly included in cosmetic products. It can help soothe inflamed skin and exfoliate your pores to reduce symptoms of acne, eczema, psoriasis and other skin conditions.
In Aromatherapy is used to improve mood and the sense of well being. Is calming effects are also reported to have therapeutic health benefits.

Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product. If blending into creams, lotions, body butters etc, 1-2% maximum of the pure absolute oil or essential oil to 100% of the product is usually about right.
