Clary Sage Absolute Oil

Botanical Name – Salvia sclarea L.
Origin – Provence France
Part Used – The Flowering Tops
Period of Harvest – June -July
Extraction Method – Solvent Extraction
Appearance – Brownish Green, viscous mobile liquid (thick but pourable)
Scent – A rich herbaceous aroma with soft hay and tobacco undertones, very tenacious
Note – Middle Note, An excellent fixative
Use – Natural Perfumery
Growing Conditions – Grown on unpolluted sustainable land.
Blends well with- Carnation, Cedarwood, Juniper, Pine, Sandalwood, Lavender, Lime, Orange, Champaca, Frankincense.

A rare and expensive absolute to produce as it takes around 90kg of flowerheads to produce only 1kg of absolute.

For External Cosmetic Use Only

Avoid all Absolutes if pregnant or nursing

Pure Absolute Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin

A patch test is always recommended before use to see if your skin is sensitive to the product

Available in 1ml sample, 5ml and 10ml sizes

1ml sample is supplied in a clear heavy white flint glass bottle with polycone sealed cap

The 5ml and 10ml bottle sizes are supplied in amber glass bottles with inbuilt dropper and tamper evident cap.
