Broom or Genet Absolute which is also called Broom Essential Oil is extracted from the bright yellow pea like flowers of the Spartium junceum shrub native to Southern Europe around the Mediterranean. It has a delicate floral aroma not unlike tea and orange blossom. It can be used in perfumery and also in skincare products.
Pure Absolute Oils or Essential Oils should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil before using on the skin. A patch test is recommended to see if your skin is sensitive to the product.
